Our Story
We’re Not Just Another
Coffee Company.
Community Brew Collective combines premium coffee, professional hospitality and measurable community impact. We help organizations create memorable experiences while investing back into the communities they serve.
What We Stand For
Five values, poured into every cup.
Excellence
Specialty-grade beans, professional equipment and baristas who take the craft seriously.
Integrity
Transparent, all-inclusive pricing and profit that goes exactly where we say it goes.
Community
The causes we fund are nominated and voted on by the people who drink our coffee.
Hospitality
On time, set up, served and cleaned up. Your team handles nothing on the day.
Impact
100% of the net profit from our bagged coffee goes back into the community.
The Model
Coffee with a purpose — and no fine print.
Community Brew Collective started with a simple idea: exceptional coffee can do more than taste good. We built CBC as a Calgary social enterprise, with two streams that do two different jobs.
Booking us keeps the lights on. Every event we cater pays our baristas properly, pays our suppliers fairly and covers the equipment, permits and insurance behind a professional espresso bar. Choosing CBC over a standard catering company gets you the same polished service — and your budget stays with a local social enterprise.
Buying the beans funds the change. 100% of the net profit from our bagged coffee goes to charities, non-profits and grassroots organizations — and our community votes on which ones get funded.
That is the whole model. The coffee is the vehicle. The impact is the point.

Coffee with a purpose, in 90 seconds.
Community Brew Collective isn't just about coffee — it's about connection, sustainability, and community empowerment.
The Coffee
Premium coffee, roasted in Calgary.
We work with a respected Calgary specialty roaster to private-label our own CBC coffee. Every bag is roasted fresh in Calgary, days before it lands in your office or at your event.
Our beans come from sustainable farms in Colombia, Brazil and Mexico, sourced through direct-trade relationships. Farmers earn well above commodity coffee prices and the supply chain stays transparent end to end.
This is not a “good enough” social-enterprise compromise. The coffee is genuinely excellent — and that is the point. The mission only works if you actually want a second cup.
Specialty Grade
85+ cupping score. Top 5% of all coffee produced globally.
Roasted to Order
No sitting on shelves. Days, not months, from roaster to cup.
Direct Trade
Farmers earn above commodity prices. Transparent supply chain.
Three Origins
Colombia, Brazil and Mexico — including a full-flavour decaf.
Community Impact Partners
Our community votes on the causes.
Every quarter, the CBC community nominates and votes on the community partners that receive our profits. Anyone can submit a cause. Real change, decided by real people.

No fluff. The full story behind the model.
CBC is a for-profit social enterprise — not a registered charity or non-profit. We are registered as a business partnership in Alberta. We donate 100% of our bagged coffee profits to charities, non-profits, and grassroots organizations through our Community Impact Partners program in Canada and internationally.
Profit is what is left after all costs are paid — beans, milk, baristas, equipment, delivery, taxes. CBC pays competitive market rates for everything. After all bills are settled, every remaining dollar of bagged coffee profit is distributed to our Community Impact Partners. The model works because we run lean.
